Adult Learners’ Week was the UK’s largest annual festival of learning, inspiring thousands of people each year to discover how learning can change their lives, and in 2016, after an incredible 24 year history of Adult Learners’ Week in England, the Learning & Work Institute launched the new Festival of Learning.
The Festival of Learning is a campaign that celebrates learning and aims to reach and engage more adult learners with many ways to get involved, including:
- Nominating learners, tutors, projects and employers that have inspired you for Festival of Learning Awards.
- Organising ‘have a go’ events, taster sessions and other learning activities during May and June.
- Celebrating learners and learning throughout the year using the #lovetolearn hashtag.
Festival of Learning 2018 Awards
The awards aim to inspire people to discover the power of learning. We are in search of the individuals, tutors, employers and projects that have used learning to transform their lives and the lives of others.
- Individual Learners
- Projects / Provision.
Award nominations are open until 12th January 2018 at FestivalOfLearning.org.uk.
For the past 6 years The Learning Partnership has had the honour of organising the celebration event for Bedfordshire and Luton.
